Academic Publications and Other Related Activities Of The Jean Monnet Chair During the Project

In order to reach the wider academic and professional network, 2 peer-reviewed journal articles (a total of 6 publications) or book chapters in English or Hungarian were planned to be published online or in print by the Jean Monnet Chair in each academic year of the project implementation, as stated in Key Progress Indicator 4 of the project description (Grant Agreement). Publications by other team members were also planned.

Number of Publications and Citations

During the three years of the project, the Jean Monnet Chair published 1 co-authored monograph, 1 edited volume, 10 book chapters, 5 journal articles, all peer-reviewed, i.e. instead of 6 publications planned, the Jean Monnet Chair published 17, which means that the Jean Monnet Chair has exceeded its commitments in Key Progress Indicator #4 by 283%.

All these publications can be found in the Hungarian Scientific Bibliography (MTMT) at https://m2.mtmt.hu/gui2/?type=authors&mode=browse&sel=authors10002648.

In one case, the Jean Monnet Chair co-published an article with one of the participating faculty members, Dr. Tibor Ördögh, and in another case, the Jean Monnet Chair published an article in an edited volume of Dr. Tibor Ördögh, thus strengthening the community of researchers in the field of European Studies. In another case, she published a journal article with her PhD student, Zsuzsanna Kondor.

The JM project has also contributed significantly to increasing the citation rate of the Jean Monnet Chair.

Awarded Editorial Team

During the implementation of the project, the Jean Monnet Chair also contributed through her editorial role (chairing the editorial board of the Hungarian-English journal European Mirror (Európai Tükör)) to the generation of more academic journal publications in the field of European Studies in Hungary.  In recognition of the high quality of work, the editorial team of European Mirror was awarded the "Hungarians for Europe" award.
